Dr. Sridhar Eswaran
As a specialist, Dr. Eswaran is able to help his patients save their teeth in many instances, or if needed, rebuild their smiles with dental implants. This type of care can have a huge impact on someone’s life and affect both their health and appearance tremendously, and Dr. Eswaran enjoys being able to have such a positive effect on people. Before you meet him in person, you can learn a little more about his background below.
Dr. Eswaran’s Dental Background
Dr. Eswaran completed his general dentistry training in his hometown of Chennai, India at the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. After coming to the United States, he received his specialty certification in periodontics from the University of Texas at Houston School of Dentistry. Now, he is a fully board-certified periodontist and implant surgeon.
Exceptional Education
In addition to being a practicing dentist, Dr. Eswaran is an assistant professor at the University of Texas at Houston, where he trains residents in gum and implant surgery. He has also completed research on bone regeneration and dental implants, with his work having been published in national and international journals.
Dr. Eswaran stays on top of the latest breakthroughs in dentistry through his memberships in the American Dental Association and American Academy of Periodontology.
Outside of the Dental Office
Dr. Eswaran is married and has a young son, and when he isn’t spending time with family, you’ll likely find him playing tennis, cooking, camping, or traveling.
